Data You Provide Directly
Text entered in a third-party search widget is processed under the provider’s own policy. If a visitor sends correspondence directly to this resource, it may be retained to respond and administer that correspondence.
Data Gathered Automatically
Hosting, analytics, and advertising services may process routine technical data such as IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, referring page, and access time. Cookies can support measurement and site operation; browser controls may limit them.
Cookies and Analytics
Analytics tools aggregate traffic and performance data. They do not convert a visitor’s use of this reference resource into an official court record or a consumer report.
How Data Is Used
Information may be used to operate, secure, measure, improve, and support the resource. It may also be processed by service providers delivering hosting, analytics, advertising, or a chosen search tool.
No Court-Record Data on File
Lenawee County Court Docket does not host, compile, sell, or maintain a case-record database. Michigan court-case access follows MCR 8.119 and the clerk that holds the file. Michigan Freedom of Information Act procedures, MCL 15.231 et seq., concern public-body administrative records and do not override a court-record restriction.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside search services operate independently and set their own collection, retention, disclosure, and security practices. Review the selected provider’s notice before entering information into its tool.
Links to Other Websites
Official court links, city and county pages, MiCOURT, and other outside services control their own privacy practices. Their policies apply after a visitor leaves this resource.
Who May See Data
Service providers may process information needed for their functions. Information may also be disclosed when a valid legal requirement applies. Lenawee County Court Docket does not sell visitor information as a court-record product.
How Data Is Protected
Reasonable safeguards are used for information handled by this resource. No online service can guarantee complete security, so visitors should use care before sending sensitive information through an online channel.
Visitors Under 18
This resource is not directed to children. If a parent or guardian believes a child supplied information directly, they may request review of that correspondence.
Your Data Rights
A visitor may ask about personal information supplied directly to the resource and may request correction or deletion where applicable. A request for an official court record belongs with the holding clerk under MCR 8.119, not with this privacy process.
